In the spirit of Hari Raya celebrations, the Paywhere team headed over to Shah’s place for dinner. His mother kindly prepared a wide spread of delicacies and delicious food for us. Think curry chicken with roti kirai, beef rendang, pineapple tarts, cake lapis, chocolate tarts, fresh fruits and many more 🙂

The food was delectable and we ate to our hearts’ content as we talked, laughed and watched How to train your dragon 2. We also got to see Shah’s baby photos and shared interesting anecdotes about one another. The time spent together was enjoyable, and getting to know one another better within the comforts of Shah’s home was absolutely heartwarming.

If you’re ever presented the opportunity to have a meal at your Muslim friend’s place this Hari Raya, you’re in for a treat! We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the time spent together and with that, we also concluded Shah’s last day as an intern here at Paywhere.

We are thankful for Shah and his family’s hospitality and we’re looking forward to more team activities together, even as the interns bid Paywhere goodbye 🙂 Finally, wishing everyone Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!
